On Wednesday 27 September, at 6.30 pm, in the splendid setting of the garden in via San Michele 39, the Slovenian poet Barbara Korun will present her latest collection translated into Italian: ODORE UMANO (Multimedia Edizioni, 2021).

Barbara Korun was born in 1963 in Ljubljana in Slovenia where she still resides. Graduated in Slavic and comparative literature, literature teacher in various gymnasiums in the Slovenian capital, essayist, literary and theater critic, but above all poet, she also worked in some Slovenian theaters with the task of taking care of the language and artistic interpretation of the actors. His first book in Italy dates back to 2013: "I want to talk about you night. Monologues" (bilingual edition), translated by Jolka Milič and published by Multimedia Edizioni. In 2016 he received the "International House of Poetry Award - Regina Coppola". In recent years she has worked as a volunteer in refugee camps in Slovenia. In 2021, his second Italian book, "Odorehumano" (bilingual edition) in the translation by Jolka Milič and again for Multimedia Edizioni, was published.
