Domenico Brancale: "Wherever water is voice".

Sunday 19 March 2023, at 8.00 pm, at Casa della Poesia (via Convento 21/a, Baronissi), meeting with Domenico Brancale and his new book "Where water is voice" (Edizione degli animali, illustrated by Miquel Barceló). He introduces and talks with the author Francesco Iannone.

Domenico Brancale, born in 1976 in Sant'Arcangelo in Basilicata, lives in Venice. Poet and translator.

Among his books we remember: "L'ossario del sole" (Passigli, 2007), "incerti human" (Passigli, 2013), "Controre" (Effigie, 2013), "Per diverse reasons" (Passigli, 2017), "Dovunque acqua sia voci" (Edizioni degli animali, 2022). He edited the book Cristina Campo "In images and words" and translated Cioran, J. Giorno, C. Royet-Journoud, Artaud, Scelsi.

He is one of the editors of the foreign poetry series "Le Meteore" for Ibis and "Prova d'Artista" for Galerie Bordas. He collaborates with Antinomie, Le Nature Indivisibili and l'Internazionale.

His work on voice and space has produced the performances: "This deposition illuminates your absence" (Galleria Gasparelli - Teatro Sì, Fano/Bologna 2009), "In my lungs there is waiting" (Galleria Michela Rizzo, Venice 2013), "uncertain humans" (Città delle 100 scales, Potenza 2013), "If oblivion was enough" (MAC Lissone, 2014), "Langue brûlé" (Palais de Tokyo, Paris 2014), "Scannaciucce - una lode dell'Asino" (Matera, 2019), "Non dire a sordo" (Galleria de' Foscherari, Bologna 2022).
