Thursday 24 November 2022, in Salerno, at the Municipal Library of Villa Carrara (Via Posidonia, 160, Pastena, Salerno), at 7.00 pm, as part of the "Migrant Voices" project curated by the House of Poetry, with the Department of Public Education of the Municipality of Salerno, meeting with the Bosnian poet and writer Faruk Šehić. The Bosnian war, the horrors and post-war consequences, the difficulties of moral reconstruction, the rivers so important in his country and in Ungaretti's poetry from which Sehic takes his steps, these are the themes that the Bosnian writer, winner of the European Union Prize for Literature in 2013, will address in public meetings together with the managers of the House of Poetry who have worked in Bosnia for many years.
On the morning of Tuesday 22 November Faruk Šehić will meet the students of the Sabatini-Menna High School in Salerno at 12.00, on the morning of Wednesday 23 November the students of the Regina Margherita Institute at 11.00 and on the morning of Thursday 24 November at 10.30 the students of the Alfano I High School.
The Councilor for Public Education of the Municipality of Salerno, Dr. Gaetana, will participate in the meetings. Falcone.
