stai attraversando la strada
sei una nuvola
con tutt'intorno
lo stesso mutevole azzurro
sopra i capelli
est ovest e sud
la periferia ti abita
come il selciato che calpesti
e sei un'onda che respira - inspira espira -
e abbraccia il proprio tuffo - il passo -
fino a riva dalla vetta
immaginaria
come bufera di neve
fra te e i rami sei
forse un albero
stato di essere
essere qui
in questa pelle di fratello
con anima robinia
sotto l'albero
sei tutto
fruscio
e vivi

you are a cloud
with all around
the same changeable blue
above your hair
east west and south
suburbs inhabit you
like the pavement you tread
and you are a wave that breathes – inhales exhales –
and embraces its own dive – the step –
down to shore from the peak
imaginary
like a snowstorm
between you and the branches you are
perhaps a tree
state of being
being here
in this brother-skin
with a robinia soul
beneath the tree
you are everything
rustle
and you live
