Nato in Turchia nel 1951, Nedim Gürsel è autore di una quindicina di opere pubblicate nel suo paese. Molte sue opere sono state tradotte in francese, tedesco, italiano, spagnolo, arabo, greco etc. Insignito di diversi premi letterari fra cui quello dell’Accademia della lingua turca nel 1976 per il suo racconto "Una lunga estate a Istambul", Nedim Gürsel scrive in turco e francese. Dopo il diploma ottenuto al Liceo Galatasaray di Istambul nel 1970, prosegue i suoi studi a Parigi. Vive... gursel
