The Path of Comets 2005

About this event

The fifth edition of "The path of comets. International poetry meetings" will take place in Pistoia from 2 to 4 June. The event, curated by Multimedia Edizioni / Casa della Poesia, is promoted by the Municipality of Pistoia, the Pistoiese Theater Association, the Tuscany Region and other public and private bodies in Italy and other European and non-European countries. It is one of the most important and largest events on international contemporary poetry and the sometimes unique opportunity to see, listen and meet poets from all over the world. The evening reading will, as usual, be accompanied in the afternoon by seminars, conferences and screenings. Extraordinary international participations are also expected this year (Sonia Sanchez, Amiri Baraka, Amina Baraka, Tony Harrison, Alon Altaras, Julio Monteiro Martins, Juan Octavio Prenz, Nicole Brossard, Giancarlo Majorino, Judi Benson, Barbara Korun, Vicente Valero, Juan Carlos Mestre, Michel Cassir, Tahar Bekri, Roberto Mussapi, Roberto Carifi, Giacomo Trinci).
